VAS - is specializing in complex, burr-free, high-precision turning, milling, and processing of high-performance engineering thermoplastics.

Customer's confidence
Customers should feel free to request quality information VAS is a supplier of scientific instrumentation and medical devices
Machined-in stress is created by:

Using dull or improperly designed tooling.

Excessive heat - generated from inappropriate speeds and feed rates.

Machining away large volumes of material -usually from one side of the stock shape.

Recognize that guidelines change as the material type changes.

To reduce the potential for machined-in stress, contact VAS ( support@vasintegrated.com).

Heat Treatments

VAS applies its proprietary annealing processes to materials that can Benefit from stress relieving. We consistently monitor our annealing ovens To ensure calibration and cycle repeatability which assures our customers that Their components will have dimensionally stable and parts with minimal stress.

Machined-in stress can reduce part performance and lead to premature part failure. To prevent machined-in stress, it is important to identify the causes.

PLASTIC BONDING

Solvent Bonding

VAS offers a best in class approach to solvent bonding manifolds. Through a combination of various Manufacturing process steps, VAS can provide solvent bonded manifolds that can meet our customers Expectations. VAS employs 100% flow testing of solvent bonded manifolds to ensure flow paths Are not obstructed using automated test fixtures designed for each customer part.

Transmissive Bonding

Our Transmissive Bonding process can be a great fit for applications where there are new designs that have features that cannot be delivered through other bonding methods. We have multiple approaches for applying this proprietary bonding technique and can quickly determine which approach is suitable for your application.

TTP Bonding
(Also known as Diffusion Bonding)

VAS has developed its own proprietary method of bonding multi-layer fluidic and pneumatic manifolds using trade secrets it has solely developed internally. This proprietary method allows for VAS to provide the industry standard ‘macro’ fluidic manifolds as well as true ‘micro’ fluidic assemblies. Our process can produce multi-layer bonded manifolds that can meet the tightest concentricity requirements WITHOUT secondary machining for concentricity improvement.

Ultrasonic Welding

Ultrasonic Welding is the fastest and most cost effective method used today to join and assemble plastic parts and non-ferrous metals. Ultrasonic welding is cost effective and a green technology. Ultrasonic welding eliminates the need to use fasteners, glues and/or solvents.

Ultrasonic Welding can be used to join all rigid thermoplastics, synthetic fabrics and films. Ultrasonic welding uses an acoustic tool called an ultrasonic horn made to match your parts design. Ultrasonic Welding is converted to heat through friction that melts the plastic or metal. The main components of an ultrasonic welding system are the actuator and power supply, converter/booster & ultrasonic horn called the stack, part holding weld fixture/jig.
